Registered Nurses provides for all aspects of nursing care and directs the work of nursing and personal care staff in the assigned unit. The Registered Nurse will also be assigned charge-nurse duties as needed.
As a Registered Nurse you will have overall responsibility for the physical, psychological, social, emotional and spiritual needs of residents. The Nurse acts as the Charge Nurse of the unit and oversees the RPNs, PSWs, and may be required to direct staff from other disciplines (dietary, housekeeping, physiotherapy, etc.) in the provision of quality care to the residents of the home.
